9/11 incident

I am an American woman living in New York and 9/11 has just happened. I’m reporting the incident to a news channel.“All I know is that I was walking down that path when I suddenly heard a loud noise followed by another which is no doubt the most terrible one I’ve ever heard in my life. I did not turn around to see what had gone wrong, I just ran as fast as I could to get to a secure place. Once I was in one, I saw what can be called as the most shocking sights. Two planes had crashed into the Twin Towers and there was a lot of smoke. People were running around like crazy. I could not take it and I collapsed to the ground. When I woke up I was in this civil hospital and everyone was talking about the terrorist attack. I know it was Osama bin Laden who did all this, I just know it. These Muslim terrorist won’t let us live peacefully. We should kill them all!”

thesis statement

"Therefore the sole reason for George Orwell to shoot the elephant was to protect his self-esteem and not to look like a fool, although his conscience told him to do otherwise".

Free writing (2)

The topic of my free writing was that I recently shifted to a new home. My favorite sentence is :

A house becomes a home only after it is filled with human emotions like love, sorrow, happiness, joy, success, good and bad times and all those things that tie a family together. Now as I walk into these empty rooms, I hope this house becomes alive with our presence soon.

Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,
Through this article, I would like to bring the Town Nazim's attention to a problem which has been troubling our area for quite some time. I am a resident of Phase VI of Defence Housing Authority, and along with many other people, I too am worried about the increasing number of stray dogs in our town. A lot of chilrden play in the evening on the streets and adults go for walks but as many of the dogs stray around that area, we face a lot of difficulty.
Not only they are dangerous, but also dirty and the cause of many diseases.

On behalf of my town, I request the authorities, to take note of this problem and help us as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,
Tehniya Asif

answer the question.

Where were you last night? (As the President of Pakistan)

As it was a Sunday, I was sepnding the day with my family. The week had been so tiring with a lot of issues piling up on my desk, therefore I thought I needed a time-out. We went to Pearl Continental Hotel and enjoyed a nice meal. It was very relaxing, but sadly I have a nation to look after, so im back to work now. You see, being the most authoritative person in the country, isn't an easy job.
